How to use Batch

Batch examples for XRPL Batch transactions. Nine small experiments, run live on mainnet, with receipts.

Not financial advice. These are lab experiments on mainnet with tiny amounts. Read the receipts, test on your own terms, and never batch anything you can't afford to lose.

What is Batch?

Batch lets you bundle up to 8 transactions into one, signed and submitted together and settled in a single ledger. It shipped as the BatchV1_1 amendment and has been live on XRPL mainnet since October 9, 2026.

The outer Batch transaction only carries the fee and sequence. The real work happens in the inner transactions, so always check those on the explorer: an outer tesSUCCESS doesn't mean every inner step went through. A batch can also include transactions from other accounts, as long as each of them co-signs.

Our experiments use three accounts: Account 1 (rauoRpdqZd8bjZsrMK1rJNxGYqVuSaUDDj), Account 2 and Account 3.

The four modes

All or NothingEvery inner transaction must succeed. If one fails, none of them apply.
Only OneTries them in order and stops at the first one that succeeds. The rest are skipped.
Until FailureRuns them in order until one fails, then stops. Everything before the failure stays applied.
IndependentRuns every one, whatever happens to the others. Failures don't block the rest.
